Mina Kamel received his bachelor degree with honor in automation engineering from the Politecnico di Milano in 2012 with a scholarship from the Italian government. Afterwards he received a masters degree with distinction in Robotics, Systems and Control from ETH Zurich in 2014.
During his master thesis, he contributed to the aerial construction project in the Flying Machine Arena, developing a tensile structures simulator and estimator.
Since then, Mina has been working as a PhD Candidate at the Autonomous Systems Lab at ETH Zurich.
His research focuses on achieving advanced levels of navigational and operational autonomy for aerial robots equipped with aerial manipulation capabilities.
